I’ve always been an artistic person – I love to draw and write, and art has always played an important role in my life. Even after my diagnosis, I used my efforts to continue being creative and use that creativity to continue to lift my spirits. I’ve always loved photography, so having a chance to express myself, especially after going through pediatric cancer, is very special to me. 

It’s important for me to advocate for pediatric cancer through photography by telling my story through my images. My photographs show the past, present and future of my life before and after cancer, and the impact it has had on my life and the world around me.
