Joining Pablove Shutterbugs has allowed me to develop my interest in photography. I use my camera to take pictures about my life, share them with people, and teach others about sickle cell anemia. Sickle cell anemia is not too well known because it mainly affects African Americans. The lack of awareness disappoints me because it’s a very dangerous and deadly disease, and just like cancer, it should be talked about more
than it is.
Having this opportunity to share my story through these images allows me the opportunity to spread the word and help out others with terminal diseases.
