I was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma at 12 years old. Throughout my cancer treatment, I occupied myself with things I loved doing or things I thought would be constructive like playing video games or creating myself a study plan for what I was missing at school. Most of the activities I did during my treatment never truly exposed others to what I experienced as a cancer patient.

Pablove Shutterbugs gave me an opportunity to express myself through the unique perspective my cancer journey gave me. This is my second time taking a Pablove Shutterbugs class, and I am fully recovered from my treatment. My photos are meant to give viewers a snippet into my cancer journey. A lot of my photos are symbolic of a bigger idea that influenced or impacted the way I lived during my year long chemotherapy treatment.
