Everyone talks about how cancer looks in the hospital – you have an IV pump next to you. You lose your hair. Life seems to fade away when you’re in the hospital, but I focus on the beautiful things – moments between hospital runs like going out to dinner with my mom or laughing at the spur of the moment skeleton in the living room. I’m not in the hospital anymore but I’m still very much tied to the hospital. I cannot do the crazy things that I used to do, but with photography I can go on awesome adventures without even leaving home. I guess that photography is the super power that Pablove gave me.
