It’s important for me to be an advocate for childhood cancer because I let people know that they are not alone, and that they can fight back. My photos tell stories about the people and things that keep me company and help me fight against cancer. Photography has impacted my life because it has helped me relax and think of other things, while also helping me discover a new passion in art. While I might not be able to do everything I used to do, this class has shown me that I am a photographer, and that photography is now one of my favorite hobbies.
